Visual Arts Intern

Voluntary Visual Arts Internship (Exhibitions/Course Administration) (6 months, 2-3 days a week) An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Visual Arts team at South Hill Park. The intern will gain experience in multiple aspects of visual arts work including: • Administration of visual arts courses and workshops • Working with Artists in Residence • Supporting installations • Researching exhibitions
• Supporting the Arts Team • Supporting external artists • Invigilation • Marketing

Past interns at South Hill Park Arts Centre have gone on to work at exciting venues such as Kew Gardens, Tate and The National Trust.

‘I learnt new skills through exhibition installation, administration, meeting artists and the public and through organization of events such as private views, symposiums and artists talks. I was also given the chance to continue my academic skills that I have learnt at university, such as writing and research.
