Art in Woodstock - The Oxfordshire Museum, Park Street, Woodstock
Art in Woodstock is an annual visual arts celebration. From 23rd October - 14th November we will be exhibiting three artists work:
Painting Backwards by Tom Kemp What is writting and how does it work? Mysterious texts on canvas and walls.
Wire Sculpture by Rachel Ducker Wire sculptor of the human form exploring the expressive dynamics of human nature.
Splice by Ruben Cooke Ruben began cancer treatment in Oxford in January 2010. This MailArt project was designed to provide distraction from the reality of his situation. Artist were invited to mail images based on the word SPLICE. The only criteria was that the work must fit through a standard letterbox, but could be any shape or form.
There will also be a programme of adult and childrens art workshops on 26th, 27th & 28th October - please see website for details.
