Kaminsky Connection: Formed with my trumpeter partner, Tony Davis. Playing music from the 30s and 40s. Other members of the band live in Cheshire and the Forest of Dean so we play in various parts of the country. Have played at Bude, Brecon, Birmingham, Pakefield Teignmouth festivals and a festival in Hungary.

Big Bear Stompers. An Oxfordshire based 9 piece band playing classic jazz but influenced by the Lu Watters and Turk Murphy US west coast 50s revivalists.

Katy Beinart

Katy Beinart is an interdisciplinary artist whose work examines themes of history, identity and place. Her practice is research based and site-specific, often evolving through a participatory process. She trained as an architect, and is interested in both the built and natural environment, and the places where they meet. Katy is also an experienced educator and has worked with schools, galleries and youth clubs on projects ranging from model-making and film-making to sculpture and installation.

I am currently working in Watercolour; it's immediacy suits my subjects, the strong clear colours also have their own physical reactions, restrictions and unique qualities, which makes the process interesting: strong technique is very important.

I studied graphic design at the London College of Printing 1978-1981 where I gained a BA (hons). I still continue to work in the profession providing services for the design of company brochures, logos, advertising etc through my company Organ Graphic Design.

My paintings are figurative with subjects taken from the natural world, the landscape; the human form and portrait.
