The Jam Factory presents a collection of mixed media paintings by Oxfordshire-based artist Lynette Kay. Lynette’s work is informed by an interest in abstracted form and colour; the painterly impasto of her textured surface works to draw the viewer into an immersive visual experience. These vibrantly-coloured works in part reflect Lynette’s “synaesthesia”, a neurological phenomenon typified by sensory overlap, the research into which she is actively involved.

With the motto ‘Changing the community for the better: young people inspiring and being inspired!’ their mission is simple; to make exciting and lively things happen in their community, using creativity as a catalyst for inspiring change.
