Create a sensational Spring film. This workshop is going to be a real treat! Where else can you morph chocolate, bring Easter eggs to life, create inquisitive flowers and animate a bouncy bunny?!

There will be lots of activities together with hand-crafted models to develop skills in both 2D and 3D animation. You will also have time to experiment with a wide range of plasticine, props and toys.

You will then add sound effects & music to create an eggcellent DVD.

We still have some places on our Directing Screen Drama course on 10th & 11th November, 10am-6pm. Learn the “tricks of the trade” of how to Direct for TV and Film with award-wining film & tv director Simon Hook.

Directing Drama for Film & TV

This course covers the principles of directing drama for the screen and shows students how to apply them in practice. It is run by film-maker Simon Hook, who made several award-winning shorts before going on to direct broadcast television drama for the BBC and Channel 4.

Art in Woodstock 2013 Festival now open for artists to register

Once again, the historic market town of Woodstock in Oxfordshire will be opening its doors for the “Art in Woodstock” celebration of visual arts, now in its seventh year and growing in both size and status every year.

In and around the town, venues, restaurants, local shops, galleries, churches, halls, museums and even churches open their doors as showcases for local and visiting artists throughout the nine day festival.

This practical course is designed for those looking to edit their own material using Adobe Premiere Pro software (beginners or improvers). Over the weekend we will discuss all aspects of the video post-production stage using the popular desk-top editing software Adobe Premiere Pro (as used by the BBC & “Monsters” Director Gareth Edwards). Learn how to import footage and edit, explore transitions, titling, sound editing and effects. Through out the course the tutor will be able to advise students on their own projects and ideas (subject to time constraints). Basic computer experience required.
