Event Management Company wanted for Cowley Road Carnival 2013 Cowley Road Works charity is looking for an experienced event management company for the Cowley Road Carnival in Oxford, scheduled to take place on 7 July 2013. Cowley Road Carnival has developed since 2001 as one of the region’s biggest multicultural, community based, outdoor arts events, attracting over 20,000 people.

Experienced, enthusiastic and flexible individual required to lead on all operational aspects of the organisation, with a particular responsibility for our Front of House service, Finance and Health and Safety provision; working closely with hirers of the building to ensure that The Mill continues to provide an excellent arts experience to all its users.

Dynamic and experienced individual required to lead the artistic direction of The Mill Arts Centre’s mixed programme. This is a new post and we are looking for someone with extensive experience of programming a small scale venue with live theatre, dance and music as well as developing an established participatory arts education programme aimed at extending opportunities and providing a compelling offer to a broad audience.

You will be able to demonstrate innovation and success in working with a voluntary board to promote a contemporary and exciting programme.

Film Oxford is a busy, dynamic centre for digital media training and production in the heart of East Oxford. The charity set up in 1985 has become a flagship social enterprise receiving funding from Oxford City Council as well as project funding from many organisations including The British Film Institute and The Arts Council of England.
